Its compact proportions and variety of useful features enables the cabinet to be used almost anywhere.

The one-piece cabinet has open shelving on top with scalloped sides and a beadboard paneled back. The middle section has a slant front panel that drops down to provide a desk surface. The hinges on the panel actuate two lower wood supports for the desk top. The interior of the desk portion is fitted with cubbies and two small drawers for stationary and sundries. The lower cabinet has a wide drawer and 2 paneled doors with original wooden knobs. The doors open to reveal a storage space with a single inward curving shelf. The cabinet is unmarked but likely American made in the 1930s.

The early 20th century cabinet is in very good antique condition. The cabinet is sturdy and functions perfectly. However, a pin in one of the desk hinges had broken and was repaired with a metal rod. Scattered scratches and wear throughout, but it fits in with the rustic aesthetic of this piece. Please see photos for more details about the condition of this cabinet. See less
