An exquisitely crafted oval French frame in solid bronze, fully sculpted with charming cherubs and flowing foliage. This picture frame embodies the opulent Rococo Revival style. The frame is stamped with “BD Déposé 109,” confirming it as a registered French design from the late 19th century.
There is a rich patina highlighting the intricate details, acting both as a natural sign of age and an authentication to the bronze material.
The space for an image is approximately 4 7/8” x 3 1/8”
