A beautiful antique Chinese vase with a stunning sancai (three-color) glaze. Matches other examples from the Liao Dynasty (907–1125), a period when the Khitan people ruled a large area of northern China and parts of Central Asia. Liao ceramics are often recognized for their bold shapes, rich glazes, and strong decorative details, reflecting a blend of Chinese ceramic traditions and the broader cultural influences that moved through the region along trade routes.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Numerous small chips and nicks throughout. There is a small area of glaze loss to the side of the body, visible in the photographs.
