A distinctive White Clad oak nightstand featuring the original swivel-top design, preserved brass hardware, and a custom two-tone makeover in Onyx Black and Old Chapel Tobacco Walnut. Compact, functional, and full of Arts & Crafts character, this piece works beautifully in farmhouse, lodge, cottage, or collected traditional interiors.
FULL DESCRIPTION
This vintage White Clad nightstand has been thoughtfully refreshed while preserving the character that made these pieces so popular for generations.
The cabinet retains its original White Clad brass maker’s placard, antique brass hinges, and original latch hardware. The body has been refinished in a rich Tobacco Walnut tone that highlights the dramatic oak grain, while the swivel turntable top and lower skirt have been finished in Onyx Black for a refined designer contrast.
One of the most charming features of this piece is its original swivel top. Unlike a hinged lid, the top rotates smoothly like a turntable, providing a unique functional detail rarely found on modern nightstands.
Behind the cabinet door is enclosed storage ideal for bedside essentials, books, electronics, or personal items. Its compact footprint makes it equally useful as a nightstand, end table, or accent cabinet.
A second matching White Clad nightstand is also available separately in our shop. The companion piece retains a fixed top and does not feature the swivel turntable mechanism found on this example.
