Charming and feminine brown ink drawing on off-white paper of a reclining nude by listed American Hungarian artist, Bernard Karfiol (1886-1952). Framed in a simple silver leaf wood frame.
Karfiol grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York and studied at the National Academy of Design and the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris. His works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, MOMA, Whitney Museum, National Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian, among others. View area measures 14"L x 9.5"H.
