Set of 4 1930s Antique English Oak Tudor Jacobean Revival Dining Chairs
Set includes 3 side and 1 armchair.

Tudor or Jacobean Revival dining chairs. The set includes one captain's armchair and three side chairs, featuring heavily carved openwork back splats, bulbous melon-bulb turned legs, and plush red velvet upholstery.

These are 20th-century revival pieces (likely circa 1920s–1930s) inspired by 17th-century English Renaissance, Tudor, and Jacobean furniture.

Features: Melon-Bulb Turnings: The thick, rounded, ornamental shapes carved into the lower front legs are a signature feature of Elizabethan and early Jacobean eras.
The arched, cutout back rests exhibit stylized floral and geometric motifs influenced by traditional regional English woodwork.
The H-shaped wooden support bars connecting the lower legs add period-accurate structural stability.

Condition Report
In structurally sound, and sturdy condition with no smells. They could probably use new fabric and there are a couple small pieces missing at the base of one of the front legs on a side chair as shown in last 2 photos.
