Decorative stoneware vase designed by Nils Kähler for Kähler in Denmark during the 1960s.
Founded in 1839, Kähler became one of the most important names in Danish ceramics, celebrated for its combination of craftsmanship and modern Scandinavian design.
This vase features an elegant cylindrical silhouette with contrasting textured glazes: a deep earthy brown upper section and a richly patterned ochre lower body decorated in geometric relief.
The strong proportions and tactile surface treatment give the piece a sculptural quality characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian studio pottery. This piece has an attribution mark,
