The … Read more This original, handcrafted copper bucket represents traditional European metalwork from the turn of the 18th to the 19th century. The bucket is made of homogeneous, warm-toned red copper, which has acquired a rich, brown-gold patina through use and the passage of time. The body is characterized by fine hammer marks, natural oxidation spots, and a unique, iridescent surface texture.

The handles are attached with solid, forged side hooks, which are firmly riveted to the copper body. The metal handles were also handcrafted, with their original bend and connection with iron rings. The cast rim visible at the bottom of the bucket forms a strong, stable base, which—as is typical of handcrafted pieces—is slightly irregular, adding to the piece's authenticity.

The piece is both functional and decorative: it can be used as a flower vase, firewood or wine cooler, but is also a distinctive object in any interior on its own, fitting perfectly into rooms in vintage, rustic, country, loft or Mediterranean style. See less
