Designed by Bertil Fridhagen for Bodafors in 1964, this bookcase beautifully reflects the sensibility of 1960s Swedish design: lightweight structures, warm materials, and a carefully considered balance between open and closed elements. The composition alternates open shelves, storage compartments, and a display case with glass doors, creating an extremely graphic visual rhythm without being overwhelming. The contrast between the light oak and the olive green interior elements is particularly striking, a detail that lends depth and character to the overall design. The handles and thin uprights maintain the clean, linear design, typical of Bodafors production from this period. Original manufacturer's label present.
