designed by poul kjærholm in 1955, the "pk22" armchairs represent one of the most iconic projects of postwar danish design. The minimalist brushed steel frame supports a suspended cognac-colored leather seat, stretched between metal supports in a simple construction that combines geometric rigor and comfort. The absence of superfluous elements and the balance between industrial materials and natural surfaces reflect the approach of kjærholm, known for his research into proportions and the relationship between steel and leather. Produced by e. Kold christensen, these chairs retain a worn patina that enhances the authentic character of the model. Good condition. They show signs of age, particularly on the leather upholstery.
