this is a genuine heraeus hanaulux london shadowless surgical lamp, the kind of light that once hung above operating tables in hospitals, engineered to eliminate every trace of shadow from a surgeon's field of view.

it has been upcycled into a one-of-a-kind floor lamp and mounted on a custom-built vintage wooden tripod crafted entirely from reclaimed army medical crutches.
the result is a piece that occupies a category of its own. Clinical precision. Military history. Industrial artistry. All in one object.
