Rare Kashima 2-seater sofa designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in the 1970s. This iconic model is known for its sculptural low profile, fully upholstered form and deep tufted seating comfort. The sofa features the characteristic rounded corner elements that give the Kashima its soft architectural appearance. This example has been newly upholstered in a high-quality fabric with a rich textured finish in a warm mustard yellow tone, perfectly complementing the bold and playful design of the piece. Extremely comfortable seating with beautiful proportions and a timeless 1970s aesthetic. A rare and highly collectible model that works beautifully in both contemporary and vintage interiors. In very good condition with new upholstery.
