The chandelier was completely restored in our specialized laboratory through a comprehensive and thorough restoration:
Dismantling and Cleaning: Every single piece of glass, flower, leaf, and pendant was completely dismantled and thoroughly cleaned by hand, restoring the crystal and colors to their original turn-of-the-century brilliance and transparency.
Structural and Mechanical Restoration: The internal hardware was completely overhauled. We removed rust from all iron components, including the vintage bolts and central threaded rod, which were fully treated, lubricated, and consolidated to ensure perfect structural stability.
Complete Rewiring: The electrical system was completely redone to meet safety standards. Modern, ultra-thin, completely invisible transparent cables were inserted, running seamlessly along the solid glass arms. The historic lamp holders and foil heat shields were carefully restored and made safe.
Glass Protection: During reassembly, new rubber spacers were added to each joint to separate the contact points between glass and metal, eliminating any risk of friction.
A job well done: the chandelier is structurally sound, clean, and ready for immediate installation.
