The case features a solid gold hinge and thumbpiece set with a light blue sapphire oval cabochon. Of rectangular form with canted edges, it is finished with a smooth, finely figured burr walnut exterior. Neatly presented in its original retail case by Mappin & Webb Ltd (London, Paris, Rome). Hallmarked with a French 18k Gold (Eagle head indicating 750/1000 purity). Maker's mark illegible.

CONDITION

In Great Condition - Light wear in keeping with age, very minor. Please refer to photographs.
