The Flags series pays homage to the ancient nature of Abruzzo, a region in central Italy characterized by wide, untamed spaces. These hand-woven works by Susanna Costantini are made of handspun wool, bourette silk, linen, and cotton.
Any irregularities in the weave, color, and surface are the result of a completely artisanal weaving process.
