An important artist, who seldom produced furniture. This example by Osolnik is representative of the finest work produced by American Craftsmen of the 20th century bar none. An abstract painters palette top supported by elegant supports. An image is included showing the piece being worked on at his Studio. Solid cherry slabs have been assembled and then sculpted with a raised lip to the edge that flutes as it approaches the cut-away section. A flawless execution and entirely unique which was kept in pristine condition by the family. This is a one of a kind piece and shows Mr. Osolnik's best work.
