These are a pair of ceiling mounted vintage Art Nouveau or Art Deco-style 5-panel tulip slag glass ceiling light fixtures.
Design Features
Glass Panels: Each fixture contains five curved, petal-shaped slag glass panels. The glass has a semi-opaque, marbled, cream-and-caramel swirl appearance, which softly diffuses light.
Metalwork: The individual glass petals are held together by an ornate metal filigree frame, featuring detailed vertical bands sculpted with embossed floral and rose motifs.
Mounting: Both shades taper upward toward integrated flared metal collars designed for flush or semi-flush ceiling mounting.
Visual Style
When illuminated, the distinctive curved slag glass mimics the natural shape of an opening lotus or tulip blossom. This design is characteristic of early-to-mid 20th-century revival lighting, adding a warm, ambient accent to classic and eclectic interiors.
