A stunning example of mid-century Italian studio ceramics, this Bitossi chalice-form vase features the iconic graffito technique - fine horizontal lines hand-incised into a white cream ground - with a richly gilded prancing horse motif at center.
Gold banding accents the rim, neck, and pedestal base, completing the classical composition.
Designed in the manner of Aldo Londi, Bitossi's legendary artistic director. Hand-marked on the unglazed terracotta base with mold number 15/461.
