Luxurious vintage ceramic jug/pitcher with sculptural handle from the Seta (silk) line designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Composed of rose, orange, light blue, and black color blocks divided by black and gilt bands with a glossy purple glazed interior. The hand-executed sgraffito patterns throughout evoke raw silk, which is enhanced by the real gold detailing (hence "Seta").
Very good, vintage condition with light wear consistent with age/use, as shown.
Signed on the reverse: '863 Italy.'
