Vintage Original Oil Painting of an old River Mill and rushing water of a creek. Simple modern style and view, almost brutalist in focusing on the structure and wood texture as it meets the nature of the river. This large painting stretches to over 4ft in length and nearly 3ft tall, sizable yet calm. Moody scene by the moving rushing river above the wooden pier or walkway.
Only marks on back that would point to its location show the words 'Spring Run.' The canvas stretching bars are marked "ANCO BILT - Glendale NY". Unknown age, estimated as 1950s or 1960s based on the frame and ANCO logo marking.
