piece is made of beechwood, showcasing a beautifully, hand-carved, turned wood design, with a warm, golden-oak color, from the late 19th , early 20th century (see photos.)

the rack has 10, turned wood pegs (measuring at 9 cm). Each peg has its own, mushroom cap-shaped form (see photos.) they have a tip finish with a small, aged, brass-colored cap. (see photos.) there are 2eye- hooks at the back, making it easily to mount upon a wall (see photos.)

the folding mechanism is fully functional and enables the piece to stretch from a minimum width of 18 cm when folded, to a maximum width of 107 cm, when fully extended (see photos).

piece is in good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a nice patina of time on the overall structure and pegs (see photos.) couple of light, hairline of age as it should be excepted for a piece of this age (see photos.), but nothing that affects the functionality of the piece. The wood has been treated, as well as polished, with respect to its original patina of time. It look like, at some point in the past, there were some additional hat pegs on the top hooks, but they may have been removed or lost throughout time.
