Professionally matted and beautifully framed, "Marta" is elegantly portrayed in a pensive sitting pose. RC Gorman was one of the most renowned Native American artists. Gorman was raised in a traditional Navajo home. His father was one of the original 29 Navajo Code Talkers
who developed the unbreakable code used by American forces in WWII.
