An antique oil painting of what appears to be the Mets El Kabir - The Fort and the Bay of Santa Cruz, Alegeria.

Paintings such as this are highly sought-after maritime and colonial-era artworks. These scenes historically focus on the strategic Algerian coastline, which features the 16th-century Spanish fortifications overlooking the Mediterranean.

In an antique original wood frame. The painting was purchased in France. There is a signature on the lower right and is hard to read.
Quite possibly the painting is painted by Primitif Bono (1890–1955) however to date is unknown.

The wood frame has some surface wear that has not been touched up and is in as found condition.
