The solid hardwood frames have been meticulously polished to a rich luster, highlighting the movement’s signature geometric carvings and incised details, while remaining remarkably stable and rock-solid for daily use. Adding to their incredible collector value, the chairs retain their original period upholstery; while the fabric shows light, honest wear consistent with age, it remains intact and provides a genuine antique character that is difficult to find. These chairs are in great condition and stand as a sturdy, sophisticated addition to any dining room or parlor seeking true 19th-century charm. See less
