Stunning hand-thrown stoneware “moon” or orb vase, also called a “weed pot”. This piece features a striking modernist aesthetic with a vibrant teal drip glaze on a textured speckled oatmeal stoneware body.
As the piece is rotated, the interplay of glaze, texture and form creates an entirely different visual experience . One side features warm natural stoneware tones and carved horizontal banding, while the other side is dominated by a rich turquoise glaze that cascades organically across the surface. The result is a vessel that feels dynamic and alive, offering multiple personalities within a single form. The piece is approximately 7” in height and 6.5” in diameter.
