Gorgeous mid century German Vierhaus marble and wood coffee table. Made in Germany, this substantial table is the centerpiece of your room. Italian marble has a nice amount of movement while still being neutral. Separates from wooden base. Nice bridge between art deco and MCM styles, this was made after WWII.
Vierhaus History
In 1908 the company Vierhaus was founded. From the very beginning Vierhaus has been in family hands – meanwhile already in the fourth generation with managing director Arndt Vierhaus. With his carpentry workshop in Essen, company founder August Vierhaus furnished the interiors of Krupp’s workers’ flats and also received the order for the ornate staircase of Villa Hügel, the private home of the steel baron.
