Teresa Cox lives in St. Paul MN. She describes her own work:

"My paintings are a vibrant and compressed dialogue between the natural world that we know and an invented landscape that reimagines it elements. Fragments of natural and geometric forms are distilled, isolated and morphed into new shapes and configured into quasi-landscapes and constructs with emphasis on fantasy, interconnection and metaphor."

Cox's paintings and drawings have been exhibited nationally and abroad including the Albuquerque Museum of Art in New Mexico, the DeVos Art Museum in Michigan, the Drawing Center in Chelsea New York and the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy.

Her work is in public and private collections in the United States, Taiwan, Germany and Australia.
