Large and robust, its main feature is a sculpturally detailed, stylized human face that gives the object a unique character. It is covered in a high-gloss, transparent glaze. Based on its stylistic features, it was made in the late 20th century. Its form, use of glaze, and characterful design show a close relationship with the uniquely voiced, figural works of contemporary Hungarian ceramicists of the era (such as Dóra Bozsó and her contemporaries).
