Adam and Eva is an Original Pencil and Watercolour realized by Gaston Touissant (1872-1946). Good condition on a little paper, included a white cardboard passpartout (35x49 cm). No Signature, stamp of the Atelier Touissant, Vendome on the lower right corner. Gaston Toussaint or Gaston Henri Toussaint is a French sculptor, born on September 7 , 1872, at Rocquencourt and died on March 20 , 1946 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. He is a practitioner of Antoine Bourdelle . Gaston Toussaint spent his childhood in Castres, trained in the studio of the sculptor Alphonse Gasc and then entered the School of Fine Arts in Toulouse in 1894 5. In 1897, he went to Paris and enrolled at the École des beaux-arts , he remained there until 1900, when he probably met Antoine Bourdelle. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
