The 1936 Cord 810 was a luxury automobile produced by the Cord Automobile division of the Auburn Automobile Company in 1936 and 1937. It was the first American-designed and built front wheel drive car with independent front suspension. The Cord 810 (and 812) were the first production cars to feature hidden / pop-up headlights.

Ron Avery is the son of the mptv Images founder, Sid Avery, who grew up learning from his father before attending the Art Center College of Design. As an advertising photographer his clients included Oldsmobile, Toyota, IBM, Compact, Mattel, Honda, Disney, Apple, Continental Airlines, Alfa Romeo, and many others. Ron retired from his career in advertising photography to work with Sid at Motion Picture Television and Photo Archive. Now known as mptv Images, the company continues to flourish with Ron as the president.
