Early 20th Century Stickley & Company Mahogany Kidney Table with Mother of Pearl Inlay
Elegant early 20th century mahogany kidney table by Stickley & Company, featuring beautifully executed mother-of-pearl and metallic inlay throughout the top surface. This finely crafted three-tier occasional table showcases classic Federal and Sheraton Revival influences, including graceful kidney-form shelves, delicate turned spindle supports, and refined proportions.
The inlay work is exceptionally well preserved, remaining smooth and flush to the surface with striking iridescence visible in natural light. Rich mahogany veneers and warm aged patina further highlight the quality craftsmanship associated with early Stickley production.
Of particular significance is the original intact Stickley & Company paper furniture seal located underneath the table, offering valuable authenticity and dating reference consistent with early 20th century production.
An elegant and increasingly difficult-to-find form, this piece functions beautifully as an accent table, library table, or sophisticated statement piece within traditional, English, Federal, or dark academia interiors.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear consistent with careful preservation. Structurally sound with beautifully maintained finish and intact inlay.
Circa: 1900–1925

Original finish retains a rich warm tone with attractive age-appropriate patina throughout. Mother-of-pearl and metallic inlay remain beautifully intact and notably smooth to the touch, with minimal visible wear and strong iridescence still present. Veneers appear clean and well maintained with no obvious lifting or major loss visible from inspection. Minor surface wear, light finish inconsistencies, and small signs of age/use are present consistent with a genuine early 20th century piece, but nothing that detracts from presentation or functionality. Original Stickley & Company paper seal remains attached underneath, which is uncommon and adds to the authenticity and collectibility of the piece. Overall, an exceptionally attractive and well-cared-for example with elegant presentation and strong decorative appeal. less
