This is a vintage footstool or window bench by the Biggs Furniture Company of Richmond, Virginia, retaining its original “Custom Built” Biggs labels. Crafted in solid mahogany, this piece features beautifully scrolled Regency/Empire Revival arms with turned stretchers and refined proportions that give it a timeless, collected look.
The stool has been newly upholstered in a sophisticated neutral designer fabric with an organic woven motif, making it easy to incorporate into both traditional and modern interiors. Perfect at the foot of a chair, beneath a console, in a dressing room, or styled as a fireside accent.
