The yellow eyes are the only warm point in an otherwise deep, shadowed composition. Unlike bordered versions of this design, the botanical pattern here runs fully to the seam with no piping, so the cover reads as one continuous, uninterrupted surface. Two separate weave structures share a single cloth. The panther portrait is built in chenille pile, which rises physically above the surrounding woven ground and gives the face a tactile darkness and visual weight that flat textiles cannot achieve.

The botanical field, however, is woven with metallic lurex threads throughout, so the leaves and flowers shift in tone depending on the angle of light. Because both structures are woven directly into the fabric rather than applied or treated on its surface, the transition between the matte panther and the shimmering botanical background is structural, not a surface finish. As a result, the cover reads differently in direct versus ambient light and behaves as a dimensional object rather than a flat image.

Dry clean recommended. If machine washing, use a cold gentle cycle only. Do not tumble dry at high heat. Do not iron directly on the velvet surface. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of the dark tones. See less
