This is a beautiful vintage Korean Bandaji style chest cabinet featuring richly figured elm wood grain and ornate brass hardware throughout. Inspired by traditional Joseon Dynasty forms, the cabinet features a hinged drop-front storage compartment, lower drawer, and elegant ebonized base.
The dramatic brass mounts, butterfly latch, and engraved hardware pair beautifully with the warm tiger grain wood, while the interior is lined with decorative script paper for added character. Compact in size yet highly decorative, this piece works wonderfully as a tabletop cabinet, jewelry chest, entryway accent, or statement storage piece.
