This striking mid-century modern studio pottery vase was designed by Alvino Bagni for Raymor in Italy during the 1960s. Standing at 10 inches tall, this medium-scale vessel features a wonderful brutalist, organic form with sloped shoulders and a pinched neck.
The exterior showcases Bagni's coveted earthtone "Sea Garden" aesthetic, utilizing a thick, heavily textured foamy brown and metallic bronze drip glaze that cascades over a matte off-white background. The bottom rim is clearly stamped "ITALY," verifying its authentic Italian mid-century origin. A beautiful, tactile statement piece perfect for any MCM or studio pottery collection.
