This plum blossom style … Read more This is a beautiful Antique Chinese Famille Noir Porcelain Vase with Carved Rosewood Jade Ornament Lid. This plum blossom style is collectible and popular with museums (similar pieces are in collections at The Met NYC and the Huntington Library Museum). It's in excellent, glossy condition and weighs apx. 3lbs 10oz with the lid. It's apx 11.5" tall and 6" in diameter. The lid is exquisitely hand carved and shaped, and it has a very good quality round jade sphere and jade pi disc on the top. The Chinese characters on the bottom read "Made during the Kangxi reign of the Great Qing Dynasty", but this piece is apocryphal and was created during the late Qing Dynasty, circa 1910. It comes with a carved rosewood display stand. See less
