Almost certainly solid … Read more Honey tone, mid-century modern Conant Ball round dining table comes with six chairs and two leaf inserts. Almost certainly solid birch and designed by Leslie Ball or Russell Wright for Conant Ball's Modernmates collection in the 1950s. The chairs have black upholstered seats in leather or possibly vinyl (may have been reupholstered recently); two of the chairs have arms, and the arm chairs have decorative ribbing on the upholstery edges. Ready to use, but would benefit from restoration: a few spots on the tabletop where the finish has been damaged, loose joints on many of the chair backs (legs are sturdy), some screws in need of tightening on the table legs, and one chair with slightly indented upholstery (dents may fade over time).
