The scalloped form and elevated pedestal base give the piece a graceful Rococo-inspired silhouette typical of fine Dresden decorative porcelain.

The bowl is decorated on multiple sides with finely detailed landscape and river scenes in soft gray, green and yellow tones by hand-painted floral garlands and gold edging. The underside bears a blue Dresden mark with “handgemalt” designation indicating hand-painted decoration.
