This is antique from around the 1920's it has patina and wear, which adds to its charm. It is missing a bracket on one side, that holds the fans in place but they stay put on there own as well. This does not deter from its functionality. It opens ok but gets stuck and needs help opening. Both Griffons are missing the rings that were originally in their mouths. This could use some love and sprucing up in my opinion. The item sat in a barn for 50 years and could use some oil and polishing. It could be left alone with the patina. Up to you. See less
