This elegant collector's item is an excellent example of the world-famous Swedish “lightweight glass” design: despite its substantial form, the piece weighs a mere 292 grams. The vase was mouth-blown and shaped using a traditional optical blowing technique. This creates a gently undulating, faceted wall that tapers to fine, arched waves at the bottom, leaving the typical Gullaskruf mold imprint. A subtle, masterful twist adorns the slender neck, which culminates in a characteristically wide, organically curved lip – an absolute hallmark of Arthur Percy's designs.

The underside of the vase is entirely typical of the period and authentic to Gullaskruf's handcrafted production: due to the manufacturing process, the base was left unpolished and irregular. It retains the rustic, matte texture of the hut from the moment it was created over 70 years ago. The honey-like color refracts the incoming light spectacularly, making the vase a coveted statement piece for sophisticated mid-century and vintage interiors.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. Flawlessly preserved without any chips, cracks, or flea bites on the delicate rim or body. The glass is perfectly clear, clean, and free of any limescale or water residue.
