The chair embodies the refined balance between functionalist restraint and organic form that defines Vaněk’s most successful designs. This example has been fully restored. The bentwood frame has been carefully refinished and polished, while the seat and backrest feature newly replaced woven straps executed in a clean ivory tone faithful to the original character of the design. The construction is structurally sound and ready for everyday use.
