Beautiful pair of glazed earthenware Art Nouveau vases in the shape of a tree stump, featuring putti or cherubs and bunches of grapes with leaves, entirely in the style of Amphora Austria, numbered 7196 at the bottom and marked L R, circa early 20th century.
The Art Nouveau style is characterized by asymmetry, graceful, organic, and flowing lines, often inspired by plants, flowers, and nature.
These lovely vases are in very good antique condition, with light signs of age and use appropriate for their age; check the photos for more details!
