Rare and superb set of eight Limoges porcelain dessert plates by Haviland & Parlon, "The Bees" pattern.
Hand-painted, inlaid, and double gilded with fine gold.
Each piece is signed on the base.
Diameter: 22 cm
Near mint condition.
A few minor scratches.
"This service, dating from the First Empire, is decorated with bees: a symbol of wealth and prosperity at the time."
