This is a great piece of vintage mid 20th century Chinese export furniture, with deeply pierced and carved apron work depicting bats, ruyi clouds, and shou medallions throughout, carved legs terminating in claw feet, and a lower stretcher centered on a carved lion mask. The gray-veined marble top is original to the stand and fits perfectly within the octagonal frame.
Measures 16.75 inches in diameter by 35.75 inches tall. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear throughout. There is a small loss to one section of the pierced scroll carving in the apron, as shown in the photographs. Please see all available photographs and consider them as part of the item description.
