Designed by the husband-and-wife duo Helen & Hobey Baker for the Baker Furniture Company, these pieces are defined by their signature angled profile, recessed floating gallery base, and Brutalist-style cabinet door hardware. There are no visible labels, makers marks, or signatures on either piece of furniture.

The Set Includes One of Each:

Walnut Highboy Dresser- This architectural Highboy features 2 deep, wide exterior drawers at the base, while the upper double doors open to reveal 4 additional "hidden" interior drawers with sculpted fronts, offering a total of 6 drawers for versatile storage. Dimensions: 46"W x 22.5"D x 55.5"H.

Matching Walnut Nightstand- This matching nightstand has a seamless double-door front that opens to reveal one hidden interior drawer and a spacious open storage cabinet. Dimensions: 28.5"W x 18"D x 25.5"H.

This specific set was purchased as a wedding gift and has remained together with the original owners for over 60 years. Because they have never changed hands or been through multiple moves, the condition is exceptional. Both pieces feature stunning original patina. The walnut has a deep, honey-toned "glow" that only 60 years of natural aging can produce. There are minimal scratches and marks (see photos).
