Selling this handsome armchair from our home that was sourced by an interior decorator. It is a Belle Époque revival piece likely crafted in the late 19th century or early 20th century. The chair's frame includes fine details such as carved acanthus leaves and a charming os de mouton stretcher. The tapestry upholstery showcases a lovely pastoral courtly couple motif on the back rest and complementing flora and fauna on the seat. As you can see from the pictures, the chair is overall in excellent condition, with few blemishes and dings to the wood frame. The tapestry fabric and backing fabric are in excellent, clean condition without visible fraying or distortion and only minor blemishes. The frame is also structurally in great shape and ready to be used as seating. We have tried to faithfully capture the chair and any blemishes.
