Antique oil on board landscape in original carved gilt frame. Tonalist composition depicting a sun-dappled wooded path bordered by tall trees and a rustic wooden fence, painted in loose impressionist brushwork with warm earth tones and atmospheric green gold light. Signed in the lower right corner, signature illegible. Period gesso and gilt frame with delicate leaf relief retains original patina and natural age wear.
Sight size 7.75 by 13 inches. Outer frame 10.75 by 16 inches.
