Traveling Man Treasures is selling this antique Art Nouveau carved Italian alabaster bust of a woman, meticulously handcrafted around the late 19th to early 20th century. The piece is in fine display condition, with minimal Wear and no damage.
The sculpture captures classic Art Nouveau themes, highlighting an idealized young woman wearing an ornate lace bonnet and a detailed, textured lace bodice. The piece rests elegantly on a classic turned alabaster socle.
This specific style is widely attributed to Adolfo Cipriani (Italian, active 1880–1930), although this piece was done by an artist from his contemporary circle specializing in the Belle Époque style.
