17th-century carved walnut armchair, Lombardy.
This armchair features a high back and a spool structure, with legs and crosspieces arranged in an "H" shape. Its shape is rigid and monumental, typical of the Louis XIV period. The armrests feature carved floral decorations and end in curls. The upholstery is made of an 18th-century fabric with a plant motif.
