Crafted in beautifully figured polished mahogany, the bench features a gracefully curved backrest with subtle vertical slat details that create a sophisticated architectural rhythm.

The flowing armrests seamlessly extend into slender tapered legs, finished with elegant brass sabots that add a refined decorative accent. The clean lines and understated ornamentation reflect the transition from historicist 19th-century furniture toward the modern design principles championed by Viennese designers such as Josef Hoffmann and the Wiener Werkstätte circle.

The settee has been newly upholstered in a soft light green striped velvet fabric, creating a beautiful contrast with the warm reddish-brown tone of the wood. Its elegant proportions make it ideal for use in a living room, hallway, bedroom, or boutique interior.

Professionally restored and presented in very good condition, with minor age-related wear consistent with age and use.
